Protecting our environment
We have taken the following steps:
- A systematic approach to environmental management, to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, prevention of pollution and continual improvement in performance
- Minimising waste by reducing our use of raw materials
- Cutting down on energy consumption by switching off items which are not in use
- Regular inspections and maintenance of equipment; therefore improving energy efficiency across the board
- Encouraging recycling wherever feasibly possible
- Finding responsible ways of disposing of rubbish, particularly with regard to hazardous wastes
